Remember....
"Stories, like money, ain't real." They are LIQUID.
Focus on VALUE, generating and promoting, and demanding....
and more LIQUID VALUE (MONEY) shows up.
(What VALUE does your stories generate?
For you, for others, for your clients?)
My posts NOW have more value than they did a year ago. How can I tell, the Rick will ask, results. Mine and the readers. And in Liquid Value.
How did I do it? I changed my story.
Well, not really. Stories are NOT PLUG AND PLAY.
Here is the secret to changing stories and changing lives.
I changed THE POV where the story is being written from. Most people I was with back in 1989 either don't care about the 1989 prison riots we were in at Camp Hill, or they are STILL traumatized over them. In other words, they are doing ZERO or NEGATIVE. Their POV - Point Of View isn't GENERATING VALUE.
MY POV is "Generate Value".
Me, I use them as an excuse, maybe at times a reason, to generate a story. One that makes me and others FEEL MORE.
I like when people THNK and FL more. Mispellings intentional. Just to scrw wth the brian. And the bunnies. 20/20 Cosmic Genius! Ex Hostage! Professional full time visionary! Whoooo Freaking Yah!
Even though you are using your experience at Camp Hill as a spring board to a higher, better way of being, it appears to me that you are still attached to that event, and are using it to express who you are. I think that's probably normal - one doesn't live through a trauma like that without it making an indelible mark on one's psyche.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about the feeling that you've made someone think and feel more that is so alluring to you? I'm honestly curious about that, since my perspective is that I don't want to be the cause of negative emotion, and I see you as wanting to create a reaction regardless of whether it feels good or bad to the other person. That puzzles me. I should add the disclaimer, however, that you are not the only online marketer I've observed that uses this behavior; you're just the one I like the most. I don't think I can attribute that behavior to Camp Hill - the other marketers I see this in were not there, so that cannot be a causal factor.
So ... I hope I've made you THNK and FL more - as you've indicated that's something you like.
